The police in Mala Recica is still looking for the 53-year-old man from Tetovo, who shot his 52-year-old wife last night around 10:30 p.m. and then escaped. The police said they were working on finding the man and clearing the case.
According to the police, the incident happened in the couple’s home on Ljubotenska street in the Tetovo village Mala Recica. After shooting his wife, the man left the house and also fired a bullet into a Golf vehicle with Tetovo license plate, parked on street 179 in the village, but didn’t hurt the owner of the car who was inside. After this, the 53-year-old man escaped with his vehicle.
A public prosecutor and a team of the Interior Ministry Tetovo inspected the place, after which, at the order of the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was taken for autopsy.
Children Locked in Car in Good Condition
An ambulance and police escort brought two children, a 7-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy, at the Skopje Clinic for Children’s Diseases at 11 pm last night.
“At the time of admission, the children gave off the impression of being neglected (dirty, in dirty clothes), frightened, lightly dehydrated, conscious, with neat vital parameters,” the children’s clinic said.
They added that the children had been hospitalized at the pulmonology department for observation, where they underwent routine laboratory analyzes, with orderly findings, and were orally rehydrated. The children were in stable condition during their stay.
The children were discharged from the hospital in good condition.
The police reported last night that two children were locked in a car with Skopje license plates in a parking lot on the Vidoe Smilevski Bato Boulevard.
Man Tried to Kill His Girlfriend
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has brought criminal charges to the Primary Court Skopje an action against one person for committing a criminal act “murder” according to Article 123, paragraph 2, item 2 in conjunction with Article 19 of the Criminal Code.
The suspect is charged with attempted murder. On September 2, he reportedly tried to kill his girlfriend in their home.
“He woke up the victim and after a short dispute, the motive of which was jealousy, he threatened her with the words, “you must die tonight.” Then, using a kitchen knife, he stabbed her in the flank, endangering her life,” the prosecutor’s statement said.
The prosecutor’s office added that the suspect was detained due to the possibility of him attempting to flee and recommitting the crime. The competent public prosecutor has also submitted a special motion for the extension of the detention.
Father and Son under Investigation for Drug Trafficking
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Skopje ordered an investigation against a father and a son.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that after a search at the home of the suspected father in the village of Kuckovo, officials found a 7.65-calibre handgun, signalling gun M50 and bullets of different calibres, as well as explosive materials, hand grenade model N38, rocket model PG7, and detonation fuse.
During the search, officials found 0.80 grams of marijuana and a scale containing traces of narcotics.
On the same day, a search was carried out in the home of the son as well, located in Skopje where officials found 61 grams of marijuana.
Both suspects will be charged with “unauthorized manufacturing and selling of narcotics, phychotropic substances and precursors”, while the father will be charged with “unauthorized manufacturing, possession and trade of weapons or explosive materials”.
